

Confined Space Regulated Entry
Statistics have shown people are at risk from being seriously injured or killed whilst working in a variety of confined spaces.
It is a legal obligation that any worker involved in such activities should receive thorough and practical accredited training.
Confined space training remains at the core of our services to water industry, oil & gas industry and shipyard industry, with an expanding volume of clients in this sector year-on-year. Our bespoke training courses addresses your local regulation and is compliant with the French labour work OHS administration standards (INRS) and the American Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).
PROGRAM
Participants will receive thorough training in:
- Definition of a confined space.
- Hazards and risks associated with confined spaces.
- Developing a Safe System of a Work Program including: method statement, risk assessment, work permit system, prejob meeting
- Control measures to be implemented.
- Confined Space Equipment, using a full body harnesses, tripods or Davit crane and ventilation devices.
- Atmospheric Hazards and the use of Gas Detection Equipment.
- Role of the team member (entrants, watchman, supervisor, Authorized gas tester).
- Operate safely in a confined space.
- Confined space emergency procedures overview.
IMPLEMENTATION ON SITE:
Practise full scale confined space entry with trainees in a real confined space environment.
AIM
To provide participants with the skills and knowledge to work safely in confined spaces and avoid being exposed to hazardous conditions or atmospheres.
This training is operated by a highly skilled confined space instructor who will review thoroughly the client confined space procedure alongside of the training
